While official figures are still rolling in, the holiday season has seen large numbers of visitors coming to the beautiful Barrington Coast. Illegal camping and parking were hot topics leading into the holiday period. Rangers have been making themselves visible at many of the usual hotspots including Seal Rocks, Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest, Pacific Palms, Crowdy Head and Harrington. More |

Alcohol free zones
Councillors voted to extend the date of the Alcohol Free Zones and Alcohol Prohibited Areas until 31 January 2025 in the eight zones across the region, as requested by the police. More |

Shorebirds are nesting on many of our beaches until March. Avoid going above the high-tide mark wherever possible and give the birds plenty of space. More |

Living Carbon grant
Landholders are encouraged to apply for a Living Carbon grant. Applications are assessed as they are submitted and will close in April 2025, or when all available funds have been awarded. More |
