Community activity in Smiths Lake

Backyards for Biodiversity – Frog Identification

Join us for a fun and informative event where you will learn more about all the amazing amphibians that call Smiths Lake and surrounds home.

Dr Matthew Greenlees from Charles Sturt University will offer his expertise in an information session which will be followed by a frogging walk to see what we can find.

This is a great opportunity to connect with nature and make a difference in your community.

No prior knowledge is required, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

Date: Saturday 8 February 2025

Time: 6:30pm

A free dinner will be provided to participants as part of the event.

Ages 8+, participants must wear long pants and enclosed shoes.

Register and find out more here.

This project is supported by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
